voice mail call log not accurate

voice mail call log not accurate

I noticed that our call log is time stamping calls incorrectly. It shows us receiving calls as "answered" at times we are not home or in many cases at times when we are asleep, like 3:00 AM.  It also logged on call as answered yet the caller claims that she got voice mail and left a message.  There was no message and no record of that call on the voice mail log. Can you help us?

The answered calls include calls going to voice mail even if the caller doesn't end up leaving a message.  As long as the message starts to play, it will show up as answered.

 

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will look into your time stamp claims.

O.K., I ended up chatting with a tech who referred it to the higher fix team for resolution. thanks
