my phone stoped working the light on the modem is flashing

This indicated loss of service...   try power cycling the device...if that fails to fix it, you may either be in an outage, or you may need a Tech onsite to diagnose and repair.

The same thing has happened twice on me both within a month the first time my service was deactivated for no reason by comcast, tech came out he called customer service they activated it, now it happened again , i dont want a tech to come and call customer service i want customer service to fix my issue now

These forums are not direct links to Comcast.  These are customer, user-to-user support areas.  If you don't call into Comcast withyour issue, Comcast will never know you have an issue.  If calling in doesn't appeal to you, then try the online chat here:  https://www.comcastsupport.com/ChatEntry/Protected.aspx
