terrible phone service!

terrible phone service!

I am extremely disappointed in my home phone service. I can't be heard, there is a constant buzzing sound on the line and the caller ID has never worked. Having the phone, and paying for it, seems pointless. I've had to rely solely on my cell phone which caused me to go over my minutes. I have not been able to use my phone properly in the year we've had comcast. It seems like a waste to pay for a service I'm unable to use.

What has happened when you called in your CDV issue to Comcast support?  Did they troubleshoot it, do a health check on your equipment or send out a tech?

 

If you have not called Comcast support, please do so, there is no reason for having any issues like this that can't be fixed.

I have called several times, and so far received no help. A tech was supposed to come but never showed up. When I call on my cell they can never locate my account and if I call from my land line they can't hear me! Its been extremely frustrating.

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will get the right local people to get it fixed.

Ok, is the correct information on file? My account shows TN but we've never lived there. We are in KY and our account has always been here.
