What has happened when you called in your CDV issue to Comcast support? Did they troubleshoot it, do a health check on your equipment or send out a tech?
If you have not called Comcast support, please do so, there is no reason for having any issues like this that can't be fixed.
The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will get the right local people to get it fixed.
