phone service

I need help with my phone.  People call, I answer, I hear them, they don't hear me.  This is the second time this has happned.  I can't call for help because the phone doesn't work.  What are my options?  I had Verizon for years, and never had this problem.  someone will have come out, or do something from your end.

by mistake your phone went to mute, press "mute" button again and will be able to make a call so that reciever can hear you.

If checking your MUTE settings did not solve this,. then perform a COLD REBOOT of your device....  your gateway is nothing more than a phone ROUTER.....   and as we all know, ROUTERS do need to be rebotted from time to time....

 

If you device has a bttery installed, remove it before you pull the power plug.....

Pull power, wait 10 seconds..... plug back into wall outlet, reinstall battery if so equipped....

Allow full power on and acquisition of network, they try your phone to see if your isse has cleared.

i have changed my telephone service a week ago and I can not receive any calls. 


I can call out and make callsbut not receive calls.  

 

You have sent me a tech to my home about replacing my modem (which was out of order) at that time I 

decided to change my carrier from VONTAGE to Comcast.  For the past several days I have been calling

comcast waiting a long time for service 15 to 20 minutes each tim e I called

 

I was with Verizon a long time and never has any trlouble. switched to VONAGE for a year and then 

switchedt to comcast.

 

This is a Nightmare my Business people can not reach me.along with family members etc.
