is there a call forwarding feature?

Yes, the details are on pages 7 & 8 of the CDV manual available here.   Basically it works like any other call forwarding system, *72 to setup forwarding, and *73 to disable call forwarding.

 

It can also be setup on Xfinity Connect under preferences / voice, and also on the mobile app.

no.    no call forwarding and I do not want calls forwarded
