phone number isn't mine

phone number isn't mine

While watching television, a message will pop up saying I am receiving a call. A voicemail will be left and I can find it in my inbox. The messages are not for me, the phone number is not mine nor has it ever been. How do I eliminate those phone calls from coming to me?

If you know the number calling, you can "block" it using Call Screening.

Thank you. To be more clear, the numbers calling me are calling a number that appears to be connected to my tv or the cable box but that is not mine. Does that make sense?

Yes, does make sense but by design it should not be doing that...  You should call into Comcast and get this elevated to Tier 2 support right away.  Make sure you explain the last part...it will help the CSR understand.

Hi SuzanneCC, I went ahead and did an account cleanup and refresh, can you let me know if you are still receiving calls from that specific number on your cable box?
