phone not working

I just switched over from my previous phone company to Comcast, bundling with my internet which I already had with Comcast. I plugged the phone cord into the modem, but I have no dial tone.

For no dial tone, refer to this link:  http://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/phone/troubleshooting-no-dial-tone/

 

If that fails, call into Comast @ 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and ask the CSR to ensure that your device is activated and provisiiond correctly.

dlwebb02, I checked the Comcast modem and is showing offline on our end. Do you still have it connected? If not we might need to have a tech out to check this for you. -FC
