phone not working

phone not working

My phone line has been working fine for the past two years.  I installed and activated new equipment yesterday (modem and cable box), and afterward my phone is not working.  I have a corded phone plugged into the modem.  Unfortunately, I work from home and without a phone I'm not working.  I called Comcast and the ending result was: I'll have to email someone and they will call you within 24 hours...

Almost certainly your account is just messed up in Comcast's system. This is something that they should be able to fix reasonably quickly. 

 

I let a Comcast employee from the corporate office know about your issues and have requested that they reach out to you. If you don't hear from anyone soon, let me know.
