Whenever anyone trys to call my mother who has comcast voice her phone does not ring, and the caller gets the message your call has been forwarded to an automated message system.

Call Comcast @ 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and speak with a CSR to begin the troubleshooting steps to repair this.
