# of rings before v-mail activates

Is there  a way to shorten the time or number of rings before my v-mail kicks in?  It seems to ring about 8 times before my v-mail is activated?

You should be able to set this in the Digital Voice Center.

Dear LeslieS,

This feature can be controlled either through the Digital Voice Center, or by contacting Customer Service and asking them to change your Voice Mail ring count. You can choose anywhere between two and nine rings before the Voice Mail picks up. Please click on the following FAQ for a quick tutorial on how to change the ring count within the DVC.
