no home phone service and comcast is ignoring us

I have no home service for 2 days. Finally called on cell and comcast tech (george) ran a diagnostic which kicked me offline. Also meant that I lost internet/cell phone.  I need the internet to have a hotspot for cell phone.

anyway, got back and redialled comcast got different lady who was rude and stupid(really) and told me to disconnect the power to router... and . I . Lost . cell. AGAIN

now I am still without my home phone service and comcast is not responding.....

I want a tech HERE today!!!

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will contact the local group.

 

Watch this post and your email for updates from the team during the business week.

 

In the mean time, anytime you have CDV issues please start by resetting your eMTA telephony modem by pressing the indented reset button on the back panel where the cables connect.  Next step is to plug in a known good wired phone directly to the eMTA's L1/L2 jack and test it.  This will eliminate the inside phone wiring and other phones as a source if problems.  Make sure your coax cable F connectors are snug at the eMTA and the coax wall outlet.
