no caller id to tv

no caller id to tv

I can't get caller id to tv problem fixed - changed to Comcast on 5-20 , caller id to tv has never worked - caller id to phone does- I have triple play and motorola RNG200N DVR - on 5/30 tried to fix via chat with Comcast - she said fixed and wait 6-8 hours for system to update - didn't work- tried to call tech support twice yesterday 6/4 and got disconnected both times -  did a chat at 1 pm -she said should be working -it's not -she did a remote reset , said wait 35/45 minutes for tv services to reload and 6-8 hours for caller id to work - still doesn't as of now 6/5 - the dvr says notification on and when I try to turn off get error message "unable to update at this time try later CID 100-but when i check notification it is changed-when change back does same thing- I'm trying to understand what going on- default should be ON - I figured out temp storage and perm storage when she reset DVR but this is giving me a headache- I can't be the only person with this problem- bad hardware box ? bad software ? I would really like this fixed and I have spent way to much time trying to do so on my own through chats and forum links and helpon line --please help
