no Caller ID on Call waiting

I have placed numerous Trouble tickets to get Caller ID to show when I am on an active call (Caller ID on Call waiting) I get the audible tone but the new caller ID number or name does not appear. 4 Technicions have been out and they plug directly into the cable modem on their test sets and get same issue. Any ideas????

After spending over 1.5 hours on-line chatting with Comcast support, the ticket was finally escalated to a Tech.  The Tech reprovisioned both the caller id and call waiting on the line.  This reactivation solved the problem where Caller ID was not displayed when another active call was in process.


My recommendation is to be persistent with Comcast Support. Escalate to the Techs sooner than  I did.  Press to have both Caller ID and Call waiting reprovisioned...

Ken-B, When you hear the tone of the call waiting coming in, does your phone shows anything at all? like for example (incoming call)?
