messages not able to be accessed from phone

I just had to clear my comcast.net voice account of messages - no one was able to leave me a message. Now, it takes  a message but I am not able to access the message from the phone, I have to go online to hear my phone message.  HELP!  I have reset my phone. I have two handsets. Do i have to reset from handset 1? This just started when I erased my messages on Voice. online.

Q-  How did you clear your VM messages?  DId you call into Comcast for this reset?

Q-  When you access the online VM system, did you ensure the TRASH was also emptied?

There is a set limit for VM storage and Deleted VM's also count against this cap so it is best to empty the trash after deleting any VMs.
