i lost the brinks signal after the voice was installed

You don't say if a Comcast installer installed your CDV and did you tell him you had a alarm system?  What did he say about it?

 

The know to wire the eMTA to the RJ45X jack for the alarm panel.

 

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will contact the local group to get the tech back out, if a tech installed it in the first place.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Are you still having issues? If so please send me a private message.

A temporary lost in signal is expected but only for a short time while the installation is made. We always recommend that you call your alarm company prior to us coming out and provide them with the date and time of your install so that the alarm company will be aware that your telephone service will be interrupted so that they can perform their alarm tests after the install of your voice services.
