dead phone line

None of my phones are working, no calls in or out. Everything is connected. Please send a service person.

Since this is a community forum and not the Comcast help desk, there is no one to put in a help ticket.  You would need to contact Comcast support.

 

To troubleshoot your CDV service, first reset the eMTA telephony modem by pressing the small indented button on the panel where the cables attach.

 

If a reset doesn't work, then unplug the telephone cord from the wall to the L1/L2 jack on the eMTA telephony modem  Plug in a known good wired phone and give it a test.

 

If a eMTA reset and direct connection doesn't help, then Comcast support must be involved to find and fix the issue.
