customer service porting phone number?

customer service porting phone number?

The worst customer experience I have ever experienced ever. I was assured that when I transfered phone service from my business account to my home account I would be able to keep my original phone number. Of course this was a lie. My business is now without phone service for three days while they "port" the number costing me thousands of dollars. 

 

Has anyone had a similar experience and if so was it ever resolved. Is there any recourse?
