Phone service--we can call out and connect on calls. We can hear them, but they cannot hear us.

I switched back to an older set of phones and still have the same problem

You'll probably need a tech to resolve this issue. Could be signal issues or a bad modem. There really isn't any way to diagnose it w/o being at your home.
