caller id has disappeared on tv and phones

caller id has disappeared on tv and phones

We had requested a vacation rate but it was implemented prematurely and we had to call yesterday to reinstate full service.  After service was restored we had a problem with a popup Xfinity Activation screen that took several hours on the phone with three different techs today to partially resolve.  It is still showing up at times on the iPad, but I can work around it.  However I just noticed that our caller id has stopped working, all calls are showing up as "Anonymous" or "Unknown Caller" both on the TV and on our phones.  I am patiently waiting to move up in the queue to speak to a representative, but it has been nearly a half hour on hold and I have just about exhausted my Comcast patience for the day....  Any ideas?

Unfortunately, when your services were restored, the CALLER ID RATE CODE was not reinstated on your account....  you will need to call into Comcast and speak with a CSR about the missing RATE CODE.
