caller Id on tv?

caller Id on tv?

Hello. I'm new to digital voice. My caller ID on TV is turned on, but isn't working on my TV's. I read the forums, and I've unplugged them, waited, and plugged them back in, and that didn't work.  Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

Error message CODE:CID100

Did it used to work and stopped, or it never worked?

 

Confirm you have have Motorola or Pace set top boxes before this gets escalated.

Thanks signed up for voice service on wednesday tech came with modem but we never checked to see if caller ID works on tv while he was here. In fact I had to remind him for the book of instructions but that doesn't cover my problem.
We have motorola box.

It helps that you state you only got phone service on Wednesday.  It does take 4-5 days for all the databases to sync up with each other.  In otherwords, it is too soon for it to start to work.

 

If it does not start working by Tuesday, then post back and the Comcast Corp administrator will look at your account codes and get it fixed.

Hello - just checking in to let you know that caller id on tv isnt working.

The Comcast Corp administrator has been notified of your CID not working, and will look into it.

 

Expect a response this week, watch your email and this post for updates.
