backfeed?

backfeed?

how do i backfeed so all of my phone jacks work? I have the high speed internet and phone modem. i would like to have some instruction so i do not have to call. i'm thinking its something i should be able to do myself.

Plug a phone cable jumper from line # 1 on the modem in to a wall jack. If the phone wiring was done properly, that will back feed all the jacks in your premises.

Just to add, the line should be disconnected from the customer side of the phone company NID, (usually a grey box on the side of the house).
