Xfinity Voice...unable to place/receive calls

Xfinity Voice...unable to place/receive calls

Have Triple Play, and modem is working for internet and tv....but phone is "dead"....no dialtone, not able to receive calls either.   Only have cordless phones....so bought new phones and they don't work either.  Have checked all connections, but have not rebooted modem.  Anyone else ever experience this problem and how was it resolved?  Thanks.

Hello,

Try resetting you modem. Use the end of a paperclip or a pen to reset the modem.  If that doesn't work you need to call 1-800 comcast or 1-800 xfinity

i am having the same problem, however do not see a reset button. where is it located on a RCA model dhg535-2?

Behind the back panel. Use a toothpick or similar to reach through the hole labeled "Reboot" or "Reset" to press the switch.
