Windows XP - Stopped working

Universal Caller ID was working until yesterday but suddenly stopped. I tried uninstalling Adobe Air and also Universal Caller ID and reinstalling. Now the app will not even start properly. I already tried temporarily disabling Symantec Firewall, that did not help.  It shows as an active task in Task Manager but I do not even get the startup screen to enter my id and password.

As a test I tried installing on a different PC in the house (Vista) and it did install properly and it works there, so it is clearly a problem with this XP machine.  Any advice on next steps appreciated.

I got it to work but it required an uninstall of the app, of adobe air, plus I had to search my hard drive for directories that included files named "comcast unniversal caller id" and delete them all.
