Why has Comcast completely broken the Xfinity Voice Connect?

Comcast?  Why are you completely breaking online access to voice mail since access to it is a problem for a large number of people? 

 

Accessing voicemail online does not work for me from the xfinity web interface and from reading this forum it is an ongoing problem for many others.  There was a workaround that allowed access by going to https://digitalvoice.comcast.net/Comcast/DVPPortal/ which no longer is working.  This now brings up a message that states:

 

“Great News! XFINITY Connect is now included with your service.
The Digital Voice Center now is being redirected to XFINITY Connect - a more comprehensive destination for all your communications that is included with your XFINITY Voice service at no additional cost.”

Clicking on the GO TO XFINITY CONNECT button  DOES NOT WORK and brings up a screen asking you to subscribe to Xfinity Voice.

Got it fixed by support so that the online xfinity voice connect works now.   The problem is that the phone number was never associated with the primary email address by comcast so it could not be accessed on line.

 

This probably the same problem for all the others posting in this forum with the same problem.

 

Call support if you have this problem and ask them to check that the phone number is associated with the primary email account.

 

Also...Voice connect does not work correctly with Chrome Browser...You have to use Explorer.
