Voicemail didn't work now it does but it doesn't pick up!

We had an issue with voicemail not working after the internet was turned on.   After 3 calls we can finally dial the *99 and get the menus.  However, I noticed that the voicemail does NOT pick as far as we can tell.  It rang over 40 times in a test before we hung up.  What can be done about it?  We are both disabled and need to receive messages from health care providers.  This is an IMPORTANT issue for us.  Thank You!

Please contact Comcast support, no one on these community forums can fix it for you.
