Voicemail counts and Email copy of Voicemail

Voicemail counts and Email copy of Voicemail

Is there a way to connect my voicemail count with my email copy of the voicemail?

I check my voicemail by email and do not check my phone for emails, but when I use my phone I am presented with the "beep" in the phone to let me know I have voicemail.

Re: Voicemail counts and Email copy of Voicemail

Normally, the stutter tone should be turned off automatically after all new messages are heard through web portal or telephone. Apparently, there was a problem. I did a MWI refresh. The problem should be gone. Please verify.

Did you notice any abnormal things (i.e. eMTA device reboot) that could cause this problem?

You can enable Email notification for new voicemail in DVC (Digital Voice Center) or SZ (SmartZone) under preferences. The notification tells you the number of new messages and the number of urgent messages you have.

I think what he wants is for the phone to stop giving him the stutter tone if he's listened to all his messages online already.

Hi Zhou,

I have the same stutter tone problem. Can you refresh/reset mine also? I have checked/deleted messages; keeps saying no messages but stutter tone remains and keeps my computer modem from making a connection.

Thanks.

Just did. Please check.

In the future, you can call customer care at 1-800-Comcast to get the MWI refreshed in real-time.

Re: Voicemail counts and Email copy of Voicemail

Thank you very much Zhou!

It worked and I appreciate your help.

I had tried online Comcast help before and they

were unable to fix it, even sent

a repairman to my house which

did not help.

Hopefully if I say MWI refresh they will know what I mean.

Again, thanks!
