We have ben using a phone based ansewring machine for over a year, now for some reason the comcast voise mailbox is not letting the answering machine pick up and record. It now goes to voicemail. How do we fix this problem.
change the ring count for the comcast VM (http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/phone/change-number-of-rings-before-calls-are-forwarded... then change the ring count on your machine to less than the comcast VM. if calls go directly to VM, then that coule be a routing issue that a call to comcast would be needed
