Voice mail deactivation - very frustrated

I have never been truly satisfied with the voicemail quality. It never had the correct date and time, etc.  I recently called customer service to deactivate the voicemail (they were very helpful, friendly).  I placed the order and she said it would take 24 hours. It is now weeks later and it stillhas not been deactivated (as in, it never answers) I tried emailing customer support and got a very long winded answer basically stating they could not help me. (lots of blah blah about caring about customers, trying to sell me on using the feature,etc)

I need to chat or call.. but I already did that and all that I was asking was for them to follow through... she could not even acknowledge that the order was entered.. sigh..

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified and will follow up.  Expect some contact from then most likely next business week.

I see your voicemail was pushed back to pickup after 9 rings. This should fix your issue if you want to use your own voice mail. Please let me know if you have any issues.

I still can not check my VM through the Internet. It telling me I have to sign up for the service
