Voice Mail

Just added a "basic second phone line" which does not come with phone mail.  The new line has a broken dial tone to imply it has phone mail waiting.  Attempt to use phone mail confirms it does not have service.  How do I get rid of the broken dial tone?

First time I have heard this on a 2nd line that does not have VM....  you can try the following to see if it helps, if it doesn't you may need to call into Comcast and register a trouble ticklet for this one.

Log into your account online and goto:  https://pf.connect.comcast.net/

Click on VOICE

CLick on Message Wait Indicator

Click on Refresh

 

It may or not work on a 2nd line, and you may still need to call into Comcast, but let us know if it did fix it or not!
