Voice Mail from Computer and Phone

Voice Mail from Computer and Phone

I have heard my VM on my computer, but when i go to make a call from the phone, I get the double beep as  though I have unheard messages.  How can I get rid of the double beep without deleting the messages.

Re: Voice Mail from Computer and Phone

The studder dial tone only goes away after new messages have been listened to.  They don't need to be deleted.

I thought so.  But I have listened to the messages online, however the studder doesn't want to go away.

Re: Voice Mail from Computer and Phone

Leave yourself a voice mail and then play & delete it, the studder should be gone.

Worse case, contact Comcast support and they have access to the switch to clear it out.
