My phone shows an indicator that I have a voice mail and there is a light blinking indicating a VM but when I hit STAR 99 there is a message that states....You have no messages in your mail box.

How do I fix this?

Does your phone have its own answering system?

Solution

I had this problem the other day.  I fixed it by calling from my cell and leaving myself a voice mail.

Once I cleared that message, the light stopped blinking.

10/4/2013:  I have same problem with Voice Mail- Waiting Indicator.  This issue was not solved.  Going to solutiopn link, pulls up same page.   Endless time on the phone, trying to get this corrected.  Tech refreshing service, did not work.

I am on a promotion trial period, & many many problems with my installations.

Very poor ComCast service.

Please reply to my outlook registered email or phone number.
