VOIP Outage....3 days now....

VOIP Outage....3 days now....

Unable to use fax / data transmission over Comcast Xfinity VOIP system for three straight days now.  Business is suffering.  Who can provide an explanation of what is going on?  I am being told it is due to the merger between Time Warner and Comcast? 

 

Anyone have an insight as to when service will be restored?

You would be better off calling Comcast.

My fax also quit working. I first noticed it on 10-3.

 

A chat session with tech support resulted in their determination that the fax machine is a fault. Everything on their end is fine.

 

Anyone else having problems?

Our phone has been out for 3 days or so..we can make outgoing calls, but for incoming calls we get a half ring then nothing. We had a chat session that briefly seemed to fix it, but it was short lived. the TV has also been going in and out but that is something that has been going on for much longer....frustrating and annoying.

The best thing to try when the phone stops working is to reset the modem.  If that doesn't fix it they you will need to call Comcast to get them to look at it.
