Unable to retrieve voicemail using Smartzone

I just changed phone numbers today and now am unable to access any voicemail options using Smartzone. First I had:

 

The system is temporarily unable to display voice mail records. If this problem persists, please contact Customer Service [URL: http://www.comcastsupport.com/] with the reference code: SCC-0302

 

So I contacted online support who told me that there was an 'outtage' in my area. This makes no sense, as I have voice and internet working.

 

Now when I go to the voicemail tab, I get a "Unable to retrieve voicemail summary - close" at the top of my screen.

I'm having the same problem, I'm told to go to comcastsupport.com and enter a ref. code but there's nowhere to enter it, I've been trying for a month and haven't solved it yet.

Are you getting the same code that the original OP is getting?  I have no idea why they sent you to Chat with your issue tho.  I will notify the Administrator of your problem.  please answer the questions I've asked too.

The reference code I was given is SCC0235 but what am I supposed to do with it?

Call 1-800-comcast and tell them you are getting an error SCC0235.

I am paying monthly payments for voicemail, but now it is showing that i do not have that service to retrieve! Why's that?

I will notify the Administrator of your posts but since it is the weekend, you may not see a reply here until Monday or Tuesday.  I would call 1-800-comcast, tell them everything you have posted here, including the error code and the message information it shows (as best you can)

 

OR- You canttry sending an email to:

we_can_help@comcast.com

 

Include all of the information below in your email:

Your full name

The Comcast Account number

Your home service phone number AND an alternate phone number where you can be reached easily

Your home service address

All the details of the problem you are having

A link to your Thread in the Help Forum

Actually, I did call comcast, and the rep told me that it would be a 'couple days' before my voice mail would be accessible online. I'm not sure that's true. I have a feeling that my online account was not set up properly for me to retrieve voicemail for my new phone number.

I can't say if what you were told is true or not, but can tell you thatt other customers have posted that, so might be?

I called them to and was told the same so we just have to wait and see

OK, finally, I'm up and running. A great feature being able to go back and find exactly when you made a call and to prove that you made the call. Comcast is the best phone and internet service I've had so far.

I am unable to access voice mail also with the same error code SCC-0035, I have been working with customer service with online chat and email Plus 1 phone call now for over a week and cannot get the problem fixed!  I now noticed what ever they did I can no longer get a online chat connection, that is no one answers......... what a joke this service is, i am going to disconnect my entire account.

The Comcast Cares Team has been notified of your SCC error and will get the right people to get it fixed.
