Unable to access voice messages

I am unable to access voice messages. When I click on Voice, the page opened is SmartZone,but it never loads so I can check my messages.

To hear the messages, you'll need a media player.  Your best bet is to download and install quicktime (quicktime.com).

 

What error are you getting when trying to play the messages?

 

For suggestion 2, the site is digitalvoice.comcast.net, not digitalvoice.com

Hi Snoopyg,

 

  We've checked your account and everything looks good.  In order to help further we'll need some additional information.

 

Can you please list the exact steps that you are taking to get to your voicemail?  (ie which urls are you going to?  which links are you clicking?  etc)

 

Also please provide the complete exact error message you are getting.

 

Also can you try accessing from digitalvoice.comcast.net and let us know if that works?

All I am doing is clicking on the button that says voice on my homepage (Comcast). The click brings up the site, but never fully loads so I can check my voicemail. While the page is suppose to be loading, the SmartZone logo is on my screen; in the left bottom corner is an exclamation point beside done. I have even tried to go into the voicemail through my email and I get the same response - .....loading. But the page never loads.

In additon to Zhou's suggestion would you also try the following?

1) After you login to comcast.net, goto http://sz0044.wc.mail.comcast.net/zimbra/h Does that work?

2) goto digitalvoice.comcast.net.  Does it work from there?

Sorry. There is no other computer in my home. All my friends with computers are at work at their jobs.

In your suggestion (1), I tried the URL and it works as far as getting me into my voicemail. I still am not able to hear the messages.

 

As for your (2) suggestion, digitalvoice.com takes me to a health care Web site titled, DVI. It has nowhere on it with regard to my problem.

The link to digitalvoice.comcast.net does not let me hear my messages. I do have what I think is a media player - Realtek  HD Audio Manager. My media player has worked fine until now, or since I began to have problems with collecting my email. There is one I saw at the digitalvoice.comcast.net site that appears to either from my daughter who lives in Missouri or my niece who is about to be deployed to Afghanistan for her 3rd trip over. Please give me something that will work so if I need to, I can call whoever back.

 

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as I am at a loss to understand what is happening with my voice mail.

The Realtek audio manager is your sound driver for the computer and will not affect the mediaplayer playback.

 

As a side note, you don't need to use the web to retrive your voice mails, you can also dial *99 from your home phone and play it back on your phone.

 

Here's the link to the Digital Voice instructions for using the features from your phone.

This will at least allow you to listen before you get your web issue fixed.

Thank you for your suggestion regarding downloading Quicktime.com. I did that and listened to my messages. Some way I lost the original setting that was preloaded at the factory when I chose the items I wanted and needed for my new computer.
