Turn off voicemail

My 90 year old mother has visited the local Xfinity office as well as called support to request that voicemail be turned off on her home phone. It is still picking up when someone calls her if she is on another call and ignores the call waiting beep. Callers hear a message stating that the voicemail has not been set up. She would like voicemail email completely removed. Can someone with Xfinity who monitors this forum please assist?

Hello gseif. I can assist with turning off Voicemail from her account. I will need to access her Comcast account to review if she has a subscription to voicemail. If she does not, I can make the adjustments in the back end to correct the account. Please send me a private message with her account number, full name, and service address so I can take a look.
