Tel 1 and Tel 2 lights blinking on X1 router/modem

Tel 1 and Tel 2 lights blinking on X1 router/modem

Our paid for telephone service shows no line on the handset, and no longer receives calls and can no longer call anyone. Is there any solution to this problem, or is there a wiring problem in my house. I have reset my x1 router and modem twice and no phones are off of the hook.

Both Flashing means no service.... this could be a temporary outage, inside wiring issue, outside DMARC issue or something worse...  call into Comcast at 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 with whatever means you have available to call and alert the CSR that you have no phone service to begin the troubleshooting process with Comcast.

If you have a short, the lights will flash. If you unplug the phone cord from the modem does it continue to blink? If you plug a phone directly in the modem (bypassing your home wiring) do you get a dial tone?
