TURN OFF VOICEMAIL

HOW CAN I TURN OFF VOICEMAIL. I WANT TO USE MY ANSWERING MACHINE. THANKS

You could just set the number of rings for the Comcast VM to 9 and set your answering machine to 3-4 rings OR you can call into Comcast at 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and request that the VM feature be disabled in its entirety ( highly recommended method ).
