Re: Stutter Dial Tone

Call your home number from your cell, then listen to the message and delete it.  If it doesn't clear, only a Comcast support agent can clear it on the switch.  1-800-266-2278

Re: Stutter Dial Tone

I saw your post about calling from my cell. The point is there is no voice mail message to delete.

USing your cell, call your home number and LEAVE yourself a voicemail.... then go into VM and DELETE the voicemail you just left for yourself.  This will CLEAR the "phantom" voicemail indicator ( stutter-tone ).

Good luck!

Re: Stutter Dial Tone

Frustrated...Xfinity Voice with that beep, beep, beep is annoying. I worked on this last night for 2 hours. Customer service could not help...the only suggestion I got was to allow Voice Mail to pick up my calls. This means if the phone is not picked up by the 6 th ring; I'll have to set-up, power up, log on, visit Comcast website, then use my computer to retrieve messages, that's in code (dragon?) to figure out what the heck the message is.

This is my landline my main phone.

BTW I see all of the features for the phone...what's the feature to listen to messages? I thought it was *99 but it's not.

I retrieve my messages by dialing my home phone number ...
