There is a major issue with calls going from Comcast to ATT Local Service.  We've had Comcast users  in MA, CO, MN etc trying to call our business in the 610 area code since yesterday afternoon.  Everyone is getting the same message - "your call can not be completed as dialed ...".  ATT has confirmed that the calls are not reaching there network.  We've opened a ticket with Comcast but haven't received any information other than the issue should be resolved in 72 hours.

I am also unable to make out going calls, I do have a dial tone and I get an error message after dialing "the service you are trying to use is not available on this line"

 

I was in chat with customer service rep and he was unable to resolve the problem, a reset didn't work.  He said he was escalating the issue and certain maitenance tools were not available at this time.  He said to chat back in 24 hours.

 

WHAT GIVES?
