Try the troubleshooting on this page:

(usually a quick press of the recessed reset button on the back of the device can work wonders).

 

If that fails chat with an agent.

received new moden had phone service for 1 day now no dial tone  first my my  wifi is slow now no phone i want a discount on my bill i never had a problem with verizon well i'm all done with this crappy service i might as well go back to a company that  the triple play actual  works
