Since the inception of Caller ID for TV and PC a few years ago; I always had problems with the program working on the PC! No problem with the TV, however. Comcast does not have a solution for this, for I have been through all their trouble- shoooting methods, to no avail! There is, however; a sound explanation for Comcast's lack of solution for this failure...it very well could be a technical issue with the server on the other end! I would appreciate "any" feedback; especially if its a solution as to what is causing the breakdown on the PC caller ID! Thanks!

This happens to me too. 

 

Error: "Unable to Connect, Please Try Again."
I notice every day or so that is disconnects.

 

It's like the connection is not persistent.

My computer is connected via Ethernet, and I don't have anything else reporting it's unable to connect. :/

I have the same issue, Caller ID only works part of the time, and most frequently not on my Mac computer. I also get the "not available" dialog box often. Sometimes works on the TV. I subscribe to the Comcast triple package that includes cable internet TV and land line phone.

Thank you for looking into this problem. If you google this issue; you'de be surprised how many Comcast customers sound very, very frustrated on many, many forums!!!

I appreciate the sympathy, but I'm wondering if any of these forum posts do any good. Judging from the chat history, the problem seems to go back over a year and yet it still exists.
