Since December 23, my telephone service has been out.  I can make calls but i cant hear the person I am calling although they are hearring me.  Please fix. Thank you.

This community forum is not the Comcast help desk.

 

You can start your troubleshooting by pressing the reset button on the eMTA telephony modem.  There's a small indented button on the panel where the cables attach.  Press it with a toothpick or some poker.

 

If that doesn't help, then take a known good wired telephone and connect it to the L1/L2 jack on the eMTA and test it.

 

If it still doesn't work, then contact Comcast support for help determining the issue and if a tech needs to come out.
