cable and internet works fine but why can't I use my phone, yes there is a dial tone but telling me it's suspended???????

Try resetting the eMTA telephony modem by pressing the indented reset button on the back panel.

 

Otherwise, it could be an issue with your accout, contact Comcast which can be done on a online chat here.
