phone was workin last night, this morning, it is dead

Unplug the modem and plug it back in. (If it has a battery back-up you can take the battery out or use the reset button if there is one.) If that does not work, you'll have to contact Comcast. 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) or 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489)

You should also check to make sure that your modem is connected properly and that all of the cables are secure.
