I too am having dropped calls...sad to see the oldest message is from 2004.  I too was speaking with 3 comcast reps and were dropped from them...3 in one night.  I was trying to get them to take reference to voicemail off my landline...24 to 72 hours is what they say and 5 days later when on a call and don't pick up call waiting, callers hear, the voice mailbox is not in service.  I don't have voicemail.  Comcast phone service is a joke and so are the reps who give conflicting information.  Looks like I am going back to Verizon, pay a premium for it and not get the Comcast bundle package....get what you pay for.

They will respond to your issue and contact the local group to get all your issues fixed.
