Call forwarding actually is set up to enable and disable via your Xfinity phone line, and I think these instructions may even pre-date the Xfinity mobile app.   *72 enables the service and *73 disables it.  Here's the Xfinity help page.  I use this service regularly and enable and disable only via my actual phone, not online, so I know it does work. http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/phone/forward-calls-with-call-forwarding
