Porting Issues

We switched from Multiband to Comcast TV, Voice and Internet service approx. 3 -4 weeks ago.  We have had "porting" issues according to the install tech.  We still can not dial out or receive calls.  Our install tech seems baffled and has spoken to the "porting" guys several times but service has still not been successful.  What gives? Internet and TV service works fine.
