Phone reception breaks up.

Phone receptions breaks up, just like a cell phone.  This happens on our corded phone as well as our cordless phones.  Any ideas?

As a first step, try resetting the modem/gateway by rebooting it...  pull power, let sit 5 seconds then plug back in... allow 3-5 minutes for the device to come online and try the phone again.   If it continues, you may need to call into Comcast and register a trouble ticket for your affected services.
