I noticed lately that some of our phone calls are going to voice mail, even when we are not using the phone. They should only be going to voice mail if we are on the phone. Yesterday, three phone messages went to voice mail instead of the answering machine which is the primary source for missed calls and my husband swears he wasn't on the phone all day long. What is causing this? And how can I remedy it?
I have an answering machine which I prefer to use over voice mail. Please explain to me how to stop the voice mail entries. Dan6139
I would also like to turn off voice mail so that the answering machine in my home could be used. Also how do I get to the old messages that have gone to voice mail?
How do i change the number of rings before comcast voicemail picks it up. Its at 2 which is not allowing my home answering machine to get the calls.
