Phone issue

My phone calls are being forwarded to voicemail without even ringing.  My ring preferences is set at 5, but the recording says "Your call is being forwarded to an automatic voicemail system."  How do I fix this issue?

You'll need to call Comcast to ensure their network doesn't show you have call forwarding enabled. 

 

However, first try resetting the voice modem by unplugging the power cable from it. Then, use a paperclip or similar to depress the small button on the back. Hold that for 10-15 seconds, then release.

 

Plug the power cable back in.

 

Wait for the lights to go solid, and plug a phone directly into the phone port and check for the ability to place/receive calls.
